It was late that night, Nellie and I were sleeping, her head lying on my bare chest snuggles into me. Then I heard a scream.
“Love, can you please get in charge of that” she said sleepy
“yes” I yawned and went up stairs to Amy’s room
“What’s up love? Why did you scream?”
“There was something under my bed daddy, he is hiding in closet” I looked at her suspiciously and carried her to the closet, she hided on my neck and I opened the closet
“See? There’s nothing to be scared about”
“Are you sure daddy?”
“Yes, im sure, come one” I laid her on bed and I laid with her
“What are you doing?” she asked me
“I’m lying here with you…”
“Why?”
“If that… wait why you did screamed about?”
“The boogeyman wanted to take me away”
“The what?”
“The boogeyman is a monster that hides in the closet or under bed and if you get up he catches you and takes you away”
“That’s ridiculous, who told you that?”
“Guess who…”
“Jasper…”
“Yes…”
“I will talk to him in the morning, okay, try to sleep”
“You are staying here with me?”
“Yes, when you fall asleep, I will go back with your mother”
“Alright” she snuggled into me, as her mother does… she fallen asleep, the funny thing was that I fall asleep too… and no boogeyman came to take my Amy away… and if he tries… well, I always have my razor next to me.
